Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Occasional Saturdays.
- 5:30a - 3:30p or 7:30a - 5:30p.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Front-End Loader Operator to join our team at a busy recycling facility in Gainesville, FL.
This is a hands-on position where sorting materials on the line is the primary responsibility, with equipment operation (front-end loader or skid steer) as needed.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience operating a front-end loader and/or skid steer, preferably in an industrial or recycling environment. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate front-end loader and/or skid steer safely and efficiently.
- Sort recyclable materials (paper and co-mingled items) on the processing line.
- Assist with general labor tasks throughout the facility as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Support the team in achieving daily production goals.
- Learn and apply knowledge of various entry-level roles within the facility.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of recent front-end loader and/or skid steer experience.
- Recycling facility experience highly preferred.
- Understanding of sorting procedures for paper and co-mingled materials.
- Willingness to take on multiple responsibilities and learn new tasks.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and goal-driven.
- Forklift experience is a plus (not required).
