Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile, customer-focused professional to join our team as an Inside Sales Associate. This role combines relationship-driven inside sales with a strong focus on customer success and operational support. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers—answering questions, resolving issues, and supporting their long-term success—while also contributing to revenue growth and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technical solutions.
A technical background or familiarity with electrical or power systems is strongly preferred, as this role frequently interfaces with engineering teams and provides foundational technical guidance to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through proactive communication and ongoing support.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, including Engineering, Production, Marketing, and Quality.
Sales Growth & Support:
- Partner with Outside Sales and Account Managers to drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
- Prepare customer-facing proposals, cost estimates, and technical presentations.
Order & Project Management:
- Manage sales orders and purchase orders with a high level of accuracy to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support new program launches and assist in the ongoing management of existing customer projects.
Technical Support:
- Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for products related to power and energy systems.
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical inputs for engineering teams and communicate engineering feedback back to customers.
Customer Success & Process Improvement:
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely, professional manner, coordinating corrective actions as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with internal teams to enhance workflows and customer experience.
Market & Industry Insight:
- Research industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Stay informed on applicable standards and innovations related to power and energy systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer success roles.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, DC power, or energy-related products preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working within ISO or quality management systems.
- Experience with ERP or CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite or similar).
- Experience with customer support platforms such as Freshdesk or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and communicate effectively with engineers.
- Strong motivation to learn and grow in a technical, fast-paced environment.
