Overview:
This position supports customer service and order processing within a production and supply environment. The role focuses on accurate order management, inventory coordination, and responsive customer communication to ensure smooth operations between customers, sales, production, and shipping teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer questions via phone and email.
- Process orders, returns, and credits accurately.
- Check inventory, order status, and shipment tracking.
- Provide product information and pricing.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate as needed.
- Support internal teams and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of customer service or order management experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience using ERP or CRM systems preferred.
- AS400 experience is a plus.
